Secret of the ear implant acupuncture

The secret behind this form of acupuncture: This break- through technique of applying acupuncture therapy developed by Dr. Werth consists of:

implanting tiny medical titanium needles in the outer ear to sti- mulate the affected brain regions. These permanent implants are neither visible nor uncomfortable. Therapy

The “Peripheral Brain Stimulation” (PBS) is not a form of common acupuncture but an independent technology of surgery. The starting point for the procedure is the ear that is connected to the brain through numerous nerve tracts.

In theory every disease of neurological origin can be treated with PBS. However, practical experience exists so far only with the treatment of the disease pattern for Parkinson’s disease. Starting from the insight that, in a Parkinson’s patient, the body inherent mechanisms of producing dopamine have stopped, a permanent neuronal stimulation in the ear serves to reactivate those regulating functions.

My ear implants against Parkinson’s

In my office as neurologist and ear acupuncturist, I noticed in 1999 in a pain patient (Trigeminusneuralgy) a complete disappearance of pain, after 1 session. I found out that it was caused by a small nodule in the earlobe at the trigeminulneuralgy point. It was an ear acupuncture needle that had slipped under the skin. (see: „the discovery of the Forever Needle“) This was the birth of a new landmark in the acupuncture, the time of the ear-implant-acupuncture. The story became really spectacular when I tried the therapy for Parkinson’s (in 2000). After a few weeks, hyper kinesis appeared, as a result of a strong dopamine increase in the brain (The opposite of Parkinson‘s). This obliged us to reduce the Parkinson medication (especially the L-dopa compounds). These compounds were applied as „therapy by substitution“. By Dopaminergic medication, Parkinson Symptoms are temporally suppressed. This substitution has obviously side effects, especially since the dose is always increased. The disease progresses faster because the bodily dopamine isn’t used and the „use it or lose it“-principle applies.
